Borderlands 2 PS Vita vs. PC Screenshot Comparison

Check out a screenshot comparison of Borderlands 2 on PS Vita vs. Borderlands 2 on PC………..

Before you look at the comparison remember that the PC screenshot is most likely on high specification, and is much higher resolution than the PS Vita screen. The PS Vita screenshot will look  a lot worse since it is blown out of proportion and will be much sharper on the actual PS Vita screen itself. So take these images with a grain of salt.

The PS Vita screenshot was taken from here and again remember that the PS Vita version will look MUCH better on the actual PS Vita screen.

Let us know what you think of the screenshot comparison in the comments below!

I'm actually impressed, it looks amazing, but like people mentioned here, I'm concerned about the frame-rate

Great honest review!

I don't want to be that guy, but wouldn't it have been better to compare the Vita version to the home consoles (PS3, 360) than a PC, which would probably make the game look significantly better anyway?

My guess, FPS will be around 20/30 FPS.

Its kinda like when sega gamegear came out with a game, then later they came out the version for the sega CD: of course the PC will look better, but the psvita has alot for its size.

how come when people say 3ds games look better on the 3ds people rage, but when people say it about the vita, they are just like, meh, so when the vita gets an actually console port it has trouble running it, this people is why GTA 5 and other AAA home console games aren't on the vita. i know which vita bundle is coming to our channel soon, we can finally start up the vita LPs, we would had done it sooner if someone didn't lose the channel's vita in the mountains half way across the country. -_-

I don't think framerate will be a problem...if it's been properly optimised. The resolution is obviously lower than the consoles which gives them some headroom and the effects will be scaled back, but if it does run at native screen res at a locked 30fps I'll be very happy indeed.

Dont care about the graphics as long as the game delivers its full game play and no lags :):):):)

And the Bundle from gamestop is cheap as anything... for the vita slim and the game along with an 8 gb mem stick for $200..... that is a steal compared to what i had to pay for day one launch of my vita, but I cant wait to have my hands on two different vita's because then i dont have to worry about using the OLED screen outside compared to the OLD screen with the new one which should play perfectly outside

I agree also but the only screenshot I could find was the PC one. Unless somebody here has a console screen?

Looks like a good overall, unbiased review. And appears to be a worthwhile game.

Moreover, I like seeing further confirmation of remote play between the PS4 and the Vita. I don't yet have a PS4, but remote play with the Vita is definitely an influencing factor as to lean me towards a PS4 as opposed to the obvious alternative. Nice also to see that the games that are remote playable are decent and not at all cheap. Maybe there is a deficiency of AAA games for the Vita still, but at least with remote play we can take many of the best PS4 games with us. Only drawback is, as many have mentioned before, is that this trend runs the risk of turning the Vita into a $200 accessory for the PS4, when really the Vita's an excellent enough system on it's own and shouldn't have to be reduced to a PS4 accessory just to stay alive. But then, who didn't see all of this coming?
