Tearaway: You can recreate the game with Papercraft!

Media Molecule is at it again... some cool features for the upcoming Vita release are detailed inside

So, one of the big titles for the Vita this year is LittleBigPlanet's creators newest brainchild, Tearaway. If you've been paying attention, you've noticed how cool and interactive this game is going to be.

The creativity used to make this game oozes out of every screenshot I've seen so far. It is no small thing that they created all the characters, critters, and world out of paper. In fact, you can access paper models of everything in the game, download them, and recreate the world!

They filled the game will collectible papercraft plans, which you can unlock on your travels. As you play, you’ll come across creatures, plants or objects that appear to be drained of their color. Taking a picture of them with your character’s in-game camera restores their color, and unlocks their plan.

To access these plans, you go to the community website and you find all the things you've unlocked. Apparently there are different skins you can add to your design before you download it. Then it is a snip and glue step away from recreating the world in our world! There will be a chance for you to upload pics you take of your critters for the world to see.

Can't wait? Go over to the official page and download a few plans already! There are also pics of the community hard at work. My daughter and I are working on the squirrel right now... we'll post it as soon as we're done!

Comment below if you're as excited about this as I am. What else are you looking forward to in this game?
