Playstation Vita Pets: Pay or Spay?

The wait is finally over. Your question of what is Playstation's next AAA title for the Vita is now answered.

This new title for the Vita is aimed at the younger or niche crowds. Check out the trailer for the game and tell me what you think of the talking dogs. Yes. Talking dogs.

Remember, we here at PS Vita Hub are dedicated to bringing you unbiased and non-sarcastic news coverage for our console.

Comment away. Throw me a bone here, I know this is ruff but I've got a new leash on life to get you the freshest news. It may seem like shear terrier for some, and may breed some bad comments from others. Don't be ticked off. Ok, I'm done. Your turn.

This is actually a smart move on Sony's part. Nintendogs sold millions for the Nintendo DS!

please tell me this isnt the game xdev were talkin about....

The talking kind of weirded me out.

Not bad actually, but i hope we will see more PS Vita games at Gamescom.

Why...Why...WHYYYY DO THEY TALK

Has anyone remembered Assassin's Creed Phoenix Rising? Or do you suppose that (Is/Used-to-be) AC4?

One of the coolest games I've actually seen on the Vita - makes a change from the annoying bark/"meow" of nintendogs & friends on the DS... I can see unlimited playability in this game.. can't wait for a demo

no hope left for vita...

Wow.... Really disapointing news... I really doubt the audience of the Vita focuses on these games, the Vita isn't really for small kids (they would rather get the DS).

Idk why they waited so long to announce this.... I hardly doubt this will sell... in NA

Datguy said...

But It's a little late for Sony to make this "move", Since the Vita is alot more expensive, and the DS has already made its audience among the young, and so I really doubt kids will buy the Vita for this one game, especially if everyone else has the DS.

When Nintendo released Nintendogs, there was no other game like it at the time, they didn't have much competition in the same region.

Oh god and thus a new noddles creepypasta is born

This is probably the 'P' game Shahid (twitter.com/shahidkama) was talking about a while ago, I was expecting something else to be honest.

Lmao it freaked me out .

I'm thinking they shut down the rumors. Let's hope for something at Gamescom, though

How is this PSVs next AAA title?

Elronza Williams Jr. said...

Ah friend you forget that Invizimals is also on the way to the PS Vita which is Sony's version of Pokemon! So with a price drop and titles like these Vitas will now appeal to kids and parents the DS's main market.

the sarcasm is strong in this one

it's a sarcasm

i think this game could help the vita but i'm still waiting new games at gamescom

Davala said...

I think those two titles will encourage parents to buy! and lego marvel superheroes. nice to see more kid friendly things.

Davala said...

Yes, all jokes aside, I know these games are very successful. I think having a wide variety of games fills in more niches of gaming.

Davala said...

It is not. I am sarcastic at times.

TheExile285 said...

oh lol.

as you can see by the ****storm, not everyone caught it lol

Elronza Williams Jr. said...

Davala you are right 100%! What a lot of others here on the Hub aren't understanding is that the casual market aka kids and parents is the biggest gaming market of all. So if Sony can garner a stable foothold in that market sells of the PS Vita will rise dramatically, and then developers will in turn support the PS Vita more with the hardcore games us hardcore gamers crave!

Cornie said...

Well, having an extra game would had been better than not having at all but i would never buy this kind of game especially when PS GAMES is so expensive. =o

I hope this ain't Sony's creation as it's an obvious ripoff of Nintendogs/cats, I'd like to think they're more original than that. I know they are, now, prove it!

Lee said...

And I thought it'd been something more than this. No offense but I don't see why's Sony doing the same thing as Nintendo did many years back.

Lee said...

Kids pick the iPad more than consoles that are mainly designed for games. Believe me. The only console I've seen a kid holding these days is the PSP.

Lee said...

Anyone here played Liberation? Such a disappointment. Graphics were so-so, and the free running lags when you move the camera. Aveline runs like a tortoise too... Anyway, is it just a problem with my Vita or does anyone else's get kinda warm-hot after playing the game for about 20-30 minutes?

Jacob said...

I did, and agree.

Bob Bilbert said...

Yeah...The talking makes it feel so Disney.
But it does look like an improvement from the DS version.
You can do 100x more things here than over there.
Kids will love it.

Datguy said...

Huh.. Well i guess it depends on the area.. ;/ I havent seen anyone use a PSP in years.

Scar said...

Eh. I can definitely see the strategy behind making something like this and yeah, I think I'd check it out either after it runs its course and gets cheap or if it turns out to be so successful that it cannot be ignored.

However, I still stand by the fact that they need to focus on games that push the hardware with all the trimmings. Then again...at least they're doing something I guess.

Hamzawesome said...

They could've just made an Eye Pet game...

WHAT THE FUCK SONY???!!! WHAT THE FUCK!!!!
