Criterion have commented on the difference between the PS Vita and PS3 version of Need for Speed: Most Wanted, more details inside.......
PS Vita represents a huge step for us. We managed to crowbar the entire PlayStation 3 game onto the system. Almost all the races and events, the online play (albeit with four players rather than eight) and the massive open world is right there in the Vita version, plus a few more that are exclusive to the system.Criterion also confirmed that the PS Vita version will have less traffic, its nothing huge but some players might be disappointed with the difference.
That’s pretty cool on its own, but everything you do on your PS Vita copy earns you Speed Points, inching you closer to that top spot on your friends Most Wanted list.

Can't wait for the game, although I'm not really buying it on day 1, since AC 3 and AC 3 Liberation are both getting released on the same day as the game (Oct. 30),
I'll probably get it a week after release, just when I'm completely satisfied with the completion of both AC 3 and AC 3 L.
Most of the times, if you get it in the first week the online pass is on them. Dunno if NFS:MW has an online pass, but it might have some free goodies if you get first week. *shrugs*
I do kinda wish we had the same traffic, its always fun weaving through cars while trying to keep first place and not crash. But otherwise this is great news! Can't wait to get my hands on this one

ya my vita kinda was gathering dust there lol i had it on my bookshelf in standby mode for a month and half and it had only gone down half way for power which is pretty amazing but now i'm playing ff6 on it so its had a lot of use in the last few days while i wait for this game
Well, i bought WipeOut 2048 in 2 months after release and got network pass on it. So, do not confuse people. Network Pass for peplo who buying used discs or cartridges. ;)
Just traded in a rack of games to pay for this and assn creed vita along with black ops 2 for xbox. still on the fence about b ops vita.
I bought it earlier and received no pass. Same with Hot Shots Golf World Invitational. : (
Strange. Always getting network pass on par with game for free. European(russia) PS Store.
I'm European, but I made an US account, because of the better offers. For some reason the European beta for PSABR is on the US store as well and I can play it. Quite lucky. I was also picked to join the closed US beta.

Have another US account just because of Supremacy MMA. It's not released on EU Store. -_-
Considering both the console and vita version run at a similar frame rate of around 30fps, I am guessing they just wanted to "secure" the fps of the vita version and make sure they gain around 5 more fps, so maybe bit less traffic was necessary.
The online Pass is only in new games. no matter how old. as long as its a "New" un-opened game. it will have an online pass. if its used then the online pass was most likely used on a different PSN account and is now useless
