A tweet confirms that Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation's multiplayer mode is not like the console versions, instead it is a strategy card game, more details inside.........
The video below shows Assassin's Creed 3: Liberations online multiplayer mode:
As you can see the game does not include a free roam multiplayer mode like the consoles instead it includes a strategy card game.
However before you start bashing the game remember that Assassin's Creed is a single player franchise, multiplayer has never really been its strong point, and lets face it, who here was more interested in the multiplayer than the single player? Though its disappointing not to have a strong multiplayer mode, the single player should still justifies a purchase.

i've just got my copy this morning, and its amazing! Havent really tried multiplayer though and i dont really care for it anyway. Give it a shot when the main story is complete

Meh, i could care less for the multi-player part of this game.
Assassin's Creed has always been based more on offering a unique single-player story experience which i think it accomplishes quite well, thus Liberation offering the same purpose but for Vita users.
Card games are usually liked amoungst the mobile gaming community anyways so maybe it's a good thing but i probly won't ever touch the multi-player mode of Liberation myself wether or not it's a card game or co-op/competitive mode.
XD all this time and I didn't even know AC had multi player lol, oh well, this card game is a plus for me.

I have all 4, and no I had no Idea it had multiplayer. Ofcourse its probably cause im in the 1 percent of the gamers who play for the campaigns.

i start to hate my ps vita , why a game can t have single player and multiplayer ? Uncharted has good singleplayer but no multiplayer , COD has no singleplayer but a poor multiplayer and now AC has no multiplayer , my only hope now is KillZone
Am in Europe dudes. For some reason ppl have been getting copies early over here. I pretty much woke up and it was there. Couldn't believe it. Been playing none stop. Trust me when i say this that game is definately worth getting! its not a watered down version of AC3. Its an Assassins game in its own right

You are extremely dumb and fickle. You haven't even played the game and you are saying it sucks??? SMH!!! Just because this game doesn't have MP like the console version its a "piece of shit"? That's bad logic. Also the console MP isn't even good, nothing of value was lost. Be happy that there are games on the Vita and that some big developers are even willing to give it a chance.

dude single player is laggy as hell, new orleans looks like shit (call of duty declassified type graphics) and there aren't many kill move animations like the ps3 version, it's a serious let down. fuck vita i'm selling mine!
well i hate vita now, no hope left for me :(
