Sony have released another PS Vita firmware update, more details inside.........
Playstation Turkey's Facebook page have confirmed that Sony have begun rolling out 1.81 updates for the Playstation Vita.
This update is nothing to get excited about as all it does is supposedly block the current 1.80 hacks and exploits.

Not because they're blocking exploits but because I really wish they'd update other stuff faster, like say... more playback options (for both video and music), stability improvements that allow for more applications to run simultaneously and an improved web-browser.
sony is obviously sending a message. theyre not about to let exploits go unnoticed , not this time around. i hope wololo will finally give up and let sony get back to work on the things we want.

but anyways im not updating #1 becuase theres no reason to even turn my vita on its currently a paper weight not a single game out i would play and from the looks of the upcoming games there wont be for along time

Fu and 3D 2 sir jack ass! The PSP and the PS Vita play 3D games. Your 3DS has the added gimick of bs scopic 3D which has been proven to cause headaches and eye strain. I'll stick with the consoles that don't require asprin.

Hey everyone in another week or 2 we get have the awesome Double Dragon Neon on our PS Vitas! This is the greatest beat'em up of all time and the sound track is off the chain! If you have PlayStation Plus the game is free for your PS3 right now. I don't know if it will be free for the Vita. But it only costs 9.99 and is well worth it!
Maybe if the the 3DS had as good graphics as the vita, I would buy it. Oh wait, I still wouldn't.

Without people like Wololo, sony will lay dormant than they already are. If they see people are hacking their device for certain functions, maybe they will consider adding it into the OS itself. If not, it will at least keep them on their toes and actually develop software for the dang console.

i cant think of a better system launch/first year of games for any console. not to mention if you have any psp or ps1 games youve purchased on psn you can play those too!

You have $250 to spend on a handheld console but aren't willing to put $40 on a game developers have worked hard to make? Cheap.

Also, the browser needs updating badly. If they sorted the browser i wouldnt need to buy a new 7inch tablet.

"This is the greatest beat'em up of all time ". It is not. I've played it on the PS3. I've actually very poor. Streets of rage on the Mega Drive was better. The sound track is fun however.
I agree theres lots of vita games out and people still think theres hardly any. You've missed about 10 games from your list (which are out) but i guess this differs from country to country.
I hope they bring playstation home to the vita.
I really really really don't want the same 'piracy problem' that was on the PSP to occur on the Vita. The PSP didn't live really long in the western market as everybody started to Pirate games and Developers stopped supporting the device, hopefully this won't happen anytime soon, Hopefully the Vita gains more and more users and with Developers alike.

It is a very good side scrolling beat'em up the same as the original was! It was never meant to be a 3D God of War clone. I love that they only improved what needed improvement and nothing more!
Nice hackers, another one. I admire Sony for not letting them get their way. If I was them I would be pissed off and give up trying because these hackers won't stop. It's kind of dumb that they keep wasting their time doing this when they could be normal gamers who worry about playing cool games but instead they are stupid nerdy boys with no life.

Yup, 22 games and about half of those game are gonna be out for other consoles by the time the WiiU launches, Honestly, I was dissapointed.
The updates install on the Vita itself, so don't worry about space on you're card.
Or your like me and would rather spend your $60 on a game with 30 times the content on pc and then pirate a vita game that costs the same but has way less content and had way less work. Regardless I only pirate iPod and Android games but it makes sense.

Also, Tearaway, Persona 4, and Ragnarok Odyssey are all day one buys...well maybe Persona 4 once I beat Odyssey, but very close together.

I kind of doubt it will interrupt them. They have already shown that adding a mountain list of features is last on their to do chart. They have yet to bring certain features they promised from launch and they have withheld games and apps in the same manner. None of these issues are due to an exploit being found. Sony has had plenty of time to improve issues or to add features. They simply haven't.
Maybe with the holiday season approaching, that will make Sony a bit more responsive towards bringing features to the handheld, but given the track they have been on so far, I won't hold my breath.
I don't think one security hole in a game will really cause them to halt all operations. Sony, like many companies have different divisions within the company that manage various aspects of the software. They have people that work specifically on exploits and bugs, while they have another team working on new features. It's a collaborative operation.
i wouldn't say they aren't updating but its hard for me to believe that these hacking attempts aren't becoming obstacles. that said, there's no question that many features are long overdue.
At least Sony can spell properly.
my vita is not letting me update. i keep gettin lost connection notices and error 10-5678 somethin. i cant get on the psn or anything without the update. please help!!!
