Amazon has made a funny mistake with the listing of the 32GB memory card, and yes it is a slow news day, more details inside........
An Amazon listing for the PS Vita's 32GB memory card lists the platform as "3DO" instead of PS Vita, its a very unusual mistake as 3DO isn't even a platform.
Also today is a very slow news day and instead of trolling this post just be happy something was actually posted :)

3DO was a 32-Bit Video game console released by Panasonic in the mid-90's and was known for its disc based hardware and it's ability to play FMV (Full Motion Video) Games

because people don't generally like paying for a video game system that's not worth $250, I got mine from japan early, but nobody I know has one because it has like 5 good games and it costs to much
they aren't cheap, they like to spend money on other things too
the vita needs a price drop, the gaming industry is sort of like a competition (as are all industries) and when something better (the 3DS) is $50 cheaper, init's second iteration, then you know you have a problem that needs to be fixed, nintendo dropped the 3DS's price to $169.99 and eveyone took a paycut, because they decided they would miyamoto took a HUGE cut with his own word
I'm not a fanboy, but the vita is getting ridiculous, price-wise, and game-wise.
and before you get all butthurt that I said the 3DS is better, I mean by games, and even sometimes graphics (monster hunter Tri G and Resident evil revelations, to name some)
"a lack of decent exclusives and an astronomical asking price", I think this very closely resembles the Vita. Sony needs to lower the prices, especially on the memory cards, and release some damn games!
I finally got my 32 GB memory card, the original 4 GB card had like 100 Mbs left already

i got the 16gb with my vita at launch and i keep having to delete things from it :( need to invest in the 32gb, might wait for christmas or whenever lots of vita games come out ^_^
You could always post the new trailer for Ragnarok odyssey. great game that's going to be released on the US, but I never see it in gaming news websites... the trailer was released yesterday, they also announced that the game will get a Mercenary edition.
Yes, the Vita does need a slap in the face, especially for it's memory card and game prices. I mean $15 for a Plants vs. Zombies port? Sony... not on your damn life. Ever. I don't mind AAA games costing a premium, because they cost a premium to actually make. However games like PvZ should be in the minis category and cost no mre than $2.
3ds does have a collection but in my opinion nentindo has been focus'd on children gaming for along time now, i had a DS lite and still have a DSi current 0 games for it and i have an acekard 2i so... that says alot. Final Fantasy 3, Megaman ZX were about all the enjoyment i could get out of that system. my vita currently has 0 games too but soon as a real monster hunter comes out not a remake of a wii game that was missing alot of weapons, you can bet ill have it

3DO pwnt, I have one hooked up still alongside my Atari Jaguar, Dreamchrist, and PS3. Road Rash, Need for Speed, Twisted, Crash N Burn, Madden, Slayer...had some great games and unfortunately it was short lived.

Damn, ya'll filling 16GBs and shiz while I'm having problems filling up my 8gb card xD I guess ya'll buy from PSN and not the physical game cards, or have too much pr0n on there :P
JK JK, all that aside, I think $50 off both systems and AT LEAST a 30% reduction in Memory cards will most certainly go a long way. The new 3DS XL is $199.99 and it is a lot better than the launch 3DS, especially to those that had to pay before its drop (unless where you buy you can't transfer, then it sucks) but yea. $199.99 for the Wifi model and $249.99 for the 3G sounds reasonable. It IS better than a PS3, but no game has yet to prove that, so for $249.99 I would make the choice to get a brand new PS3 over a WiFi only Vita model (assuming I don't have a ps3; not that 3G is useful for anything other than apps anyways) and not to mention a new ps3 comes with what, 160gbs of storage already in it. So yea, They should just give the 4GB cards for free like they are doing in the new bundles coming out cause they gave out 32MBs for free back when the PSP launched, it was only smart. Or they can make their own 2GB cards specifically to be bundled with the systems while still giving a price drop to the memory cards as well.
And for sure, more games. I want devs to push the limits of this thing. MK Vita only showed how great the cutscenes can be, so damn good.
I don't usually post but how the hell can someone say that the 3DS graphics measures up to the vita's, let-alone suggesting that their better at times.... REALLY (LMAO). The vita's problem is that its ahead of its time and dev's are butthurt because they have to actually put some effort into making a handheld game. The vita is a stand-alone console in a world dominated by PS3 and the 360. To compare it with the 3DS is crazy; it has to come into it's own. Living in these fast pace, high speed, "I want my game today and not tomorrow" days, no one will be happy with anything and the consumer will never be satisfied no matter how many games are available. The vita is worth every cent, yes the software is lacking a bit and things aren't dropping as quick as they are on other systems but what do you want. Truly how many "A" list games do you want in a year, 12? These are just my opinions, call me fan-boy if you will (I am) but truth be told the Vita is solid and if your a handheld gamer, its way more than what we were asking for.... Haters gone hate (sorry for the rambling), peace-out bitches.

Hopefully the Vita's sells will rise as all the cheap cry babies can shut up about the price! Although I feel that the only price drop should have been for the memory cards. Anyways this is still good news as now others will be able to enjoy my favorite gaming system! I'm sorry Snake and others if I caused a problem. But I did send an Email about this matter earlier. As this is big news that will effect us one and all as PS Vita owners.

it's not that I want 12 "a-list" games a year, I want my money's worth, I have three games on my vita, 3 that I play regularly, but I had 13 on my 3ds by this time in it's life cycle that were all fantastic games
the vita is cool and all, but it hasn't really got me with it's selling point POWER, uncharted was beautiful, and had a brilliant story, but that's the only game on the system as of now to use the games full power that I've seen, gravity rush is now one of my favorite games ever, but the vita doesn't stand up to the 3ds in terms of graphics in my opinion, both systems have shovelware (3ds: Rayman 3d Vita: Resistance/CoD) but the vita is lacking, and sony won't give the fans what they want, hell nintendo had that problem for the first two months with the 3ds, but then THEY GOT THEIR SHIT TOGETHER, and now look at it, it's headed to the second highest selling system ever, defeating the DS and taking it's place right behind the Playstation 2
(that fact is just going by how well the DS was selling at a year and a half of it's life-cycle, said by some analyst-dude
