Indie Series Knytt will be coming to the PS3 and PS Vita, more details inside..........
Ripstone has confirmed that Knytt Underground will be making the transition to PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.
For those out of the loop, Knytt is a popular indie platform franchise from Nifflas previously available on PC.
Underground will be a collaboration between both creator Nifflas and Green Hill Studios. Knytt centres on the titular hero who finds himself trapped on an alien world and must hunt down and collect pieces of his crashed spaceship in hopes of escaping.
The PlayStation conversion of the game will include “unique content,” though details are currently being kept under wraps.
“Knytt Underground is the biggest game I’ve ever developed and is the first game where I feel that I have a story to tell. It’s about the big questions; trying to understand life and our place in it – and failing completely.”

To me its... going backwards? Games are supposed to be getting better and better and this seems liked it would have been amazing... 5-10 years ago. But the vita remake might have improvements or changes, we'l just have to wait and see :) highly unlikely i'l be getting it, but will be looking at reviews and videos on the vita version anyway.

Wrong this would have been neat back in the 8Bit Nintendo Entertainment System Era roughly 30 years ago now! Now there is One retro game coming to the PS Vita that is going to be awesome Retro City Rampage. It's Double Dragon mixed with GTA! Now that there is a mans game!
I shall look more into that title!

I would love to see more indie games available for the Vita. Download only games would be cool too, like Hard Corps or Sonic 4 Episode 1. Some great 8 bit indie games that could be a console seller are Minecraft and Fez, but likely won't happen due to xbla exclusive deals.
