Sony confirms that the PS VITA's ability to cross game chat is superior to PS3's
The PS3 has always had an 'average' party system, however Chris Norden has stated that the PS VITA also has a 'Party' ability which allows friends to join a Party no matter what games they are playing they can still vocally communicate using the built in mic.
Chris Nordens exact words
"We know everybody wants it on PS3 so we're doing it on Vita,"
The PS VITA's online functionality seems better than the PS3's at the moment, hopefully it is at launch.
