Yes Gamers, it has been confirmed that PS Vita will have a number of downloadable social apps, including those for Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, and Skype. These apps will be made free via Playstation Store as stated in their blog post.
Skype stated in its own announcement.
"PS Vita users will have the opportunity to talk with friends and family around the globe with free Skype-to-Skype voice calling, as well as take advantage of Skype's low-cost calls to landlines and mobiles internationally,"
Are the availability of these social apps a motive for you to buy the PS Vita over the Nintendo 3DS?
