Sony believe that PS Vita can steal Smartphone and Tablet Gamers

Sony believes that the PS Vita is capable of stealing fans from Apple, Google Android etc. At Gamescon, Sony’s John Koller, who is director of hardware marketing, says that smartphones and tablets gamers will “come over to” PS Vita.


Apparently, PS Vita is considered as the company’s device to also compete with the “failing” Nintendo 3DS.
“You’re going to see PS Vita expand what a lot of people believe to be true about handheld gaming, and you’re going to see a lot of those current mobile phone and tablet gamers come over to Vita. We’re very convinced of that.”, said Koller
We certainly think that the PS VITA will steal quite a lot of mobile gamers, smartphone gamers will realise that dedicated gaming platforms like the PS VITA are just generally a lot better for gaming on the go.
