The intro cutscene isn't really "gameplay footage"
But at least we know it exists, unlike the promised bioshock

No one from Sony promised a Bioshock. Ken Levine said he was working on trying to make one.

This is the first piece of vita marketing that makes me want a vita. I already have one though. Hopefully it affects others that way.

True

But he did so when they announced the Vita IIRC. So they were kinda advertising it

Not gameplay footage, just a small clip from the introduction video of the game. Probably not even from the Vita version actually...

I hope they have a date release for this bundle in Kuwait.
I am getting this Vita for micro USB as a main Reason (because It will be easy for me to charge it with my PS4) .... it still have a great features though like 1GB,1 more hour ... etc.
And BL2 will confirm my price .)

I didn't knew that ,I hope it still exist though.

$200 for the bundle, probably will still be $200 out of the bundle. Even though the slim is cheaper for sony to make they aren't lowering the price. VITA OLED is also $200 by itself.

So MicroUSB, Longer battery life, temporary 1GB memory, and smaller back touch vs. OLED and better build quality.

Tough decision, honestly. The idea of getting a slim is growing on me despite having a launch 3G vita.

I saw Conception II in there, that's where I'm headed.

Well concidering that it never actually existed according to Levine I wouldnt think so. I hope Sony uses their new porting division that's bringing over Borderlands 2 to team up with Levine for a bioshock vita though. It seems reasonable enough to me.

Let's see how well Iron Galaxy ports Borderlands 2 first. Bluepoint did a great job with Playstation All stars, and the MGS collection.

Wow... That's not really footage... Bad sign.

Noticed a God of War segment in there. Are we acrually getting a new title or was that the GOW Collection I see in pre order on GameStop?

That's a great advertisement video. Sony needs to continue raising awareness of all the things that this amazing device has and can do.

I would think Sony would make sure they did a great job. Otherwise it would be putting a nail into the coffin for the Vita.

James Cluckey said...

Pretty sure I might buy the Borderlands bundle. Especially if it has Borderlands skin. My OLED Vita will get shelfed.

Yes definately, let's forget that studio existed. Call of duty Declassified was abysmal.

Also, I've mentioned this before here. Borderlands 2 is built on the Unreal Engine, the mobile version is very very similar. There are a few games running the engine already, like Smart As and Doctor Who. So I highly doubt its hard to port.

doesn't look any slimmer to me

the latter.

I won't really take it seriously until other retailers show it in their pre-order catalogs. I still don't understand why Sony isn't releasing the GOW Saga (I, II, III & PSP games) ... rather only putting out the "collection" (minus GOW 3). They just don't seem to get it. Take years producing this, and not even include the whole saga, typical Sony.

Ken Levine is a dumb ass

Ok. Thanks for sharing. I agree with your assessment of him.
