New Maps for Killzone Mercenary Available Soon for PS Vita

Ready for new MP maps on KZ Mercs for your Vita? They're almost here!…...

According to a dev posting on a Killzone Community Forum we won't have to wait too much longer to play more maps on KZ Mercenary. In fact, 2/19 in the middle of the day!

The update includes 2 maps from preview KZ games, polished up for their debut on the Vita.

Tharsis Depot

After incurring damage during the ISA invasion of Helghan, this subterranean mining platform has been converted to process nuclear Petrusite. Now that it’s back in full-scale production, the ISA will again battle Helghast and mercenary forces between the structures of Tharsis Depot. This time they intend to finish the job they started. Under the cavern’s artificial light this is a great map to play Guerrilla Warfare or Warzone on. A Mercenary version of the Killzone 2 classic.

Blood Gracht

Months after the nuclear blast that ruined most of the city, Pyrrhus is slowly recovering. But now with ISA, Helghast and mercenary troops clashing in the suburb's buildings and winding alleyways, the canals once again run red with blood. This fan-favourite multiplayer map from Killzone 2 is ideal for all game modes.

If you've already updated the KZ patch, the size of the update is 167 MB. If not, it is 526 MB.

Are you going to pick up the update when it comes out? Which map do you want to play?

the producers already said on a previous update that the two maps and the bots will be separate updates and that the bots update will come shortly after this update

Check the "Borderlands 2 PS Vita Gameplay Details Revealed" article of more than a week ago, I posted a screenshot comparison of the Vita version compared with the 360 version, which I posted 9 days ago.

There's a guy on twitter called @EditorGed bug testing Borderlands 2 on Vita!!! he recently put up footage of him playing it and screenshots! unfortunately he deleted the video and images for reasons he didn't disclose (obviously was told too?)
Anyway some people seen it but no one grabbed the video ffs! gotta say after watching it, the devs have got it spot on, the guy also commented on it saying the framerate was butter most of the time, drops slightly similar to the consoles only in hectic battles.

Well, that's just teasing... :(
I want to see that footage so badly.

Finally, new maps for the years biggest game should've come out the same year. I mean, it's not like KZ came out at the end of December. So they had time to get this out before years end. But, no. Lazy Sony, as always. Some will say better late than never, but really this frequent procrastination of Sony in so many areas (by far, too many to even begin mentioning) is what of course is one of the big, if not biggest, thing holding back the Vita from reaching it's full potential. Thanks Sony. Clearly you're not as supportive of the Vita as it's many fans are.
