Sony have confirmed that Japan will be getting red and blue PS Vita's, more details inside.........
On sale November 15, Sony will be offering Japanese customers the Vita in Cosmic Red and Sapphire Blue.

The red looks more like a dark pink to me, IMO.

I agree lol the blue looks really good to bad no north America release date . Oh well. I am happy with my black one.colors tend to chip away.
The blue colour is nice, but i still think that black is the nicest!
Remember it is region free so import your heart out if you want. Personally I'd wait to see if will come to EU or USA a bit later, I doubt it will be seen outside of Japan till next year regardless. We do get a white Vita here in the states. I'm suprised they didn't release the Blue Vita with the Madden bundle like they did with PSP so many years ago (anyone remember the Blue PSP madden bundle?)
These colors look pretty nice, but I have already had a vita since it's release in the U.S. in February, so I will most likely not be getting one. Nice addition nonetheless. ^_^
These colours really do knock the shine off of a £200 console! :(
I forget about import but i am good with my. Launch black vita . Plus no more systems f or me until the new ps4 & 360. Come out . The vita will be my last handheld gaming device.
The reason why Sony is selling the Vita in these colors is that they hope to trick people who want to buy the 3DS into buying the Vita by mistake. Nice try Sony, I'm on to your little scheme!!!

Or you know, it could be adding some variety to the colors of the system.
It could just be the glare on the system, it looks more like a red in the pictures where you can see the front diagonally.
And that's the exact reason that they made the 3DS black too ;)
I really like the blue. However like many of you I have had my vita since release and a new color is no reason 2 get rid of the old.
Be nice if you could be able 2 get the skins without buying a new console.

they should make the buttons red and blue aswell like the psp cause it looks a little awkward with black buttons , other than that:it's smexy

I really like that red one. The rumored purple and green-ish yellow one look sweet too. I just wonder when they'll start shipping outside of Japan. I still like my black one though, I'll probably just stick with that. Though the white is tempting too..

this is a good thing sony did. if they take of 50euro's from each vita bundle, and they release more games, the 3ds will have a real difficult time!

They made the buttons black on the Gold PS3 controller Gamestop released, and actually I like that parts of the Vita are still black because most accessories are also black, kinda gives you that 50/50 feel.
i think the reason why the buttons are black is because the color would fade over time as you press the buttons.
