Im not even mad at them, the lack of games is just unbearable
What lack? There's a new game at least every week, some even fee. And plenty of PSP, mini and PS One games to keep you busy. No need to go hacking the thing, unless for the obvious reasons (don't want to spend any money). The supposed 'lack' was ages ago.
Monster Hunter Portable 3 patched... That is the only reason I'd love to have it working...
There are no games in the forseable future for the vita. I don't like all stars or assasins creed. And who knows when black ops is coming out. Maddens graphics are not even on par with the ps2. I thought this machine was supposed to be near as powerful as ps3. And you call ps one games good. Sorry going back now most suck. And charging anything more than $5 for ANY ps one game is a crime. And psp games outside of god of war stink. Cmon sony you screwed us with having to buy YOUR memory card. Give us some damn games!
I'm Really Pissed By The PS Vita I Swear I Have it locked up in my closet waiting for Assassin's Creed III Liberation To come and save this dead handheld any time now...I just enjoy playing N.O.V.A 3 on my Samsung Galaxy S III more than any other game on the Vita which are all either ports that I already own on my PS3 or that multiplayer sucks like hell which can only support up to 4 vs 4 max only...I mean Come On Sony get a grip of yourselves before I go and sell this stupid device...I swear I regret buying it I just Love SONY but now when I compare Black ops 2 to Black ops declassified...I just rather keep my PS3 and play some high quality games with a decent online multiplayer which can support up to more than this stupid 4 vs 4 multiplayer that sucks like hell...If anyone out there just feels like they have a reason to keep their Vita's right now just try to convince me or something because I just can't stand this annoying game line up which I got bored of after months of playing...I've tried uncharted golden abyss, gravity rush, Lego batman 2, resistance burning skies, dynasty warriors next etcetera...but It just got boring why? Because we need A game that proves that the Vita can handle more than just a lame 4 vs 4 online multiplayer...maybe then maybe just then I'd change my mind and be glad to have such a powerful handheld which still bothers me until today.

What makes me happy about this is that soon there will be a lot of room for making nice hacks to it and be able to use the handheld in a lot of random ways. And I'm not talking about pirated games. Leave those aside. I mean holly freaking sweet homebrews! Interesting things like using it as a X360 controller or a PC controller or what not. The awesome feeling I had when I started playing on Dolphin (Wii emulator) with a X360 controller was so sweet! <3 'Remote Play' with a PC would be so cool.
Props to the hacker for not revealing how to do it, but that's not the way to deprive people from such hack as long as, just like he said, it is possible.
The last AAA game for the Vita was released almost 4 months ago.

Sorry but developers don't really Go to the bathroom and shit out a brand new top selling game buddy. It takes time. Ps3 didn't have as many titles as it does now, it took time didn't it? Just like Xbox and Nintendo wii. Things take time. It's impossible to put out a game in 2 months.

With all due respect to those who agree with you but if you don't like the games available for the ps vita and you don't see a good one in a future than you are pretty much a fool for buying a system that has "no good games". Don't get me wrong man, simply you could've waited for a "good" title to be released to buy the ps vita don't you think? It's dumb to buy something and then complain about how it does this or that, when you buy something you take risks now for those of you stop whining about it.
Assassins Creed and Killzone Mercenary are gonna be awesome I'm sure of it but Killzone is set to be in a 2013 release which bothers me anyways yes need for speed tearaway and not to mention FIFA 13 are going to probably make this handheld more alive and appealing to all of it's owners to what it really is today and thanks for the comment it cheered me up a bit.
I don't hate it I just can't find anything to do with it right now that's gotten me to write down how I feel about my Vita since launch day nothing was that interesting that's all I'm saying if I hated it I wouldn't have bought it in the first place I'm just pissed off you know but hopefully soon Im gonna be really satisfied with it when great games like assassins,sly and ratchet and clank come out.
Right on point bro! I want a better web browser than the one we have and full remoteplay without putting custom firmware on my PS3. And most important of all to be able to use my Vita as a standalone cellphone! Games I buy all my games legally. So no need for anything unlawfully gaind on my part! But Sony themselves could've stopped this all together by giving us customers what we really wanted which was a portable PS3 with a good web browser!
Well LBP PS Vita allows five people to play a level at the same time at least during the beta it did we I and others were testing it. Not to mention that game is like hundreds of games in one title. So goodbye game shortage!

SoundShapes is fairly new, and Gravity Rush was released about 3 months ago. But yeah, 3 or 4 months It's been a long time, and I've been waiting for an experience as good as Gravity Rush, after all it is my favorite Vita game.
But soon enough, JetSetRadio is coming to the Vita tomorrow, LBP is out in 10 day, and Alot, I mean ALOT of games are getting released after By the end of October.
Actually, I very much like that Pinball game Zen Pinball 2. Further, Foosball, Sunflowers, Sound Shapes, Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3 (granted, those alreasy were out on retail, but now also on PSN), free games Ecolibrium, Treasure park all came out the last few weeks. You may not like them, but they DID come out.
Plus, I have all my minis and PS One games (which I have quite a lot of, because I subscribe to PS Plus).
All in all, I now have ALL my 100 bubbles filled with games and apps, so how could I complain for not having anything to do?
As for the complainers, compare this with the enormous amount(NOT) of games that came out for the PS3. It's summertime people, there are SUPPOSED to be no new games! Haven't you seen the lineup of Gamescom? Great new games are around the corner for sure (including PS Plus for Vita, Yay!)
Not trying to be funny, I just refuse to cry wolf with the pack. I have a mind of my own, and I use it. I have my vita for about 3 months now, and am enjoying it tremendously! And my to-play list is still big! So big I haven't touched my PS3 in weeks, and favour my Vita at the moment!
This is good for vita sales . But terrible for the vita. Game developer . They will all back away from the ps vita. Damn the good and bad . And I guess no psn acess after mod .
Oh, come on. A handheld is not designed for MP, other than casual interaction (like Near). You can use your PS3 for that. A handheld is for playing on the road, mostly on your own. If you bought it to play MP games, you clearly bought it with the wrong intentions in the first place.
Agree with you Chris, people just think there arnt many games, usually from what others had said, but theres absolutely loads, 20+ vita games, 40+ ps ones, 8+ apps, crap loads of minis and psp games. So far ive got about 6 ps one games, 4 psp, 1 mini, all the apps, and about 12 vita games. ive been busy playing games since the day the vita came out and theres not been a point where ive had nothing to do on it.
I feel that way about the nintendo 3ds, theres only 2 games im interested in on the 3ds out of its whole catalogue, where as theres 10 on the vita im hugely interested in (which are out already)

Great news everyone LBP PS Vita is at GameStop right now in the United States!! On my way to pick up my copy now! Sony told GameStop to sell the title early thank God they finally made a smart move. A friend of mine that works at GameStop here in Tampa gave me the heads up. And I'm telling you guys fuck this hacking bullshit and go grab this great game see you all in LBP!!
Well I kinda disagree just becuz some of the ps vita games are port if not, not very good as reviews themselves show. Ps games are a nice addition but again its ps one game which arent new. 8 apps, are kinda useless other than facebook, twitter, netflix, etc. But again, i rather just used a computer to check my facebook and skype becuz sony limits a lot of the functions. Im having problems even viewing pictures on facebook and messenging. my browser doesnt even have a start up button. Just saying, Sony is pretty slow and comes out with nothing useful, and different.

this is the PSP emulator that got hacked, not the vita itself. Just like the DS emulator of the 3DS is hacked, it doesn't affect the vita in a bad way. Just calm down divas.

No not just here in Tampa Florida all over the US n4g.com has an article about it. I was too late when I got to GameStop and they were sold out but they'll have more tomorrow and my friend that has his said you get both sets of preorder costume packs, but you can't download them yet. And trust me this game will sell millions of copies and move some hardware aswell!

I kind of like the idea, not necessarily for pirating, but being able to backup my psp games and finally be able to put them on the Vita. Since we weren't allowed to trade them in like Sony had toyed with before the US launch. I don't want to have to re-buy all these UMD's in digital form, it's bullcrap. Hopefully this will allow us to use our UMD dumps.

Yes, plus using the hack method will render the vita useless to getting psn games for the vita, so I don't see many ps vita owners risking it. Specially since a psp is like $99.
Once the Vita can have an emulator for Ps2, Gamecube, and N64, I'll be happy. I want to play Kingdom Hearts 2 on the go so bad.

But this will probably be a good thing since Part Babies received an IGN score of 7.5 which is a better score than your precious Gravity Rush and about 80% of other Vita titles. HA!!!! I never have much money to blow nowadays, but I am planning on getting a Vita EVENTUALLY. I'm not one to waste my money on games I'll never play, like the minis and most PSN games, but once more AAA games with good reviews come out for it, then yeah, I'll get one. I'm just not really into it's non-hardcore games; I can have plenty of those on my
iPod. I'm waiting for games like Final Fantasy X (favortie game of all time; once it comes out I'm getting a Vita for it), Bioshock, Killzone, Assassin's Creed, etc.

Dont care about assassins creed. Both the first and second were basically the same game which this will be. Other than mk i hate fighting games. Pretty much all the same including mk. Mk has fatalities which i like. Little big planet and sly are children games. And i have played a version of both. Need for speed. Yet another car game. One in a million. Maybe killzone. Also i want the developers to give us the best they can. Not half ass. Madden has some great elements then has some really bad ones. It kinda looks like they rushed a copy out saying its madden it will sell. And of course it did because i wanted it and because i was bored and needed a new game.

Right now I think is good for one reasonPSP games that aren't on PSN or not compatibleI miss Crisis Core, I never finished Kingdom Hearts BBS and there are alot of games that aren't compatible with the Vita, and sony isn't doing a s%#t about it.So if the hack gets realeased to the public I might hack my Vita.

There is less than a hundred Psone games on the Vita store(NA Store) and not everyone has a PS3 to transfer the games, on top of that there are also games that don't even work, even with a PS3, like Chrono Cross which I really want to play.

It's a ps vita, not a ps3 portable...so stop asking for stupid things like full access to everything the ps3 has to offer. I hate ungrateful people who thinks just because they bought something, that they are entitled to everything else...
Sure Chris theres plenty of stuff.... if you live outside of the US. The US got 9 ps1 games to start with while Europe got 90+ after some outrage sony added a few more but as said above sure there are some others that will work but you have to have a ps3 to transfer them and not everyone can live at home with their folks and have every system under the sun to toy with. The same goes for many of the games that look remotely good to me.
Also not everyone likes the same types of games. I'd rather have more rpg's like FF titles, breath of fire and the like, and just not interested in strategy, sports, and most others. So from my stand point theres slim pickings for the console. And the sooner both sony and the developers realize this the better the system will be in the long run.
As far as the hacking goes. Good for them. Maybe some custom firmwares wont be too far behind, which may lead to more and better apps, browsers, and taking some of the shackles off of the system. If not then maybe it'll atleast give sony the kick in the rear it needs to start listening to their customers and start putting out more content.
Hey dumb dumb I own a PS3 320gb aswell as a 3G PS Vita so It makes sense why I'm asking for the connectivity I feel owners of both consoles should have! And how am I ungrateful just because I acknowledge there are improvements the PS Vita needs in order to appeal to more people??

Yeah as much as people want to moan and groan about hackers, its not all about piracy. I didn't use my psp for that, rather I put the custom firmware on and loaded it up with lightmp3 (thousands of times better than the default) opera mini browser, emulated some of the ps1's I already had, also toyed with devicehook to use it as a remote for the tv. And that was all on the old psp 1k series. Just imagine all the possibilities that could lay dormant within the shackled programming within Vita.
you know...i cant see much harm in letting people play snes, ps1, nes, various sega systems. those games have seen their money and have made the developers who they are today. i kinda feel like once games hit their 15-20 year mark they should be free. nintendo/sony continue to make money off of re-releases and even unchanged original versions forever. and while you cant blame them (cause they do own the rights to them after all) why not support the people that buy your merchandise and give back a little. there would be much less pirating if that were the case. consumers would be happier overall. as much as i love the playstation brand...they should not be charging 10 dollars for ANY ps1 game on psn. bottom line. as for new and more recent games, its flat WRONG to download them without first purchasing them. i have paid for super mario world multiple times, (snes twice, gba) so i feel no guilt when running emus for them. i just think game developers should have a thing where they just release their older classic games and publicly announce them as free. thats unrealistic i know, but i think it would be a better system than what we are experiencing now.
