SCE UK boss Fergal Gara has said that the killer unannounced PS Vita games are coming, more details inside........
Speaking MCV, Gara said: “We would love it to be selling more and we intend to make it sell more and help it sell a lot more. The feedback from many consumers who’ve got their hands on it is positive – so that’s a very good start.
“The key thing for the rest of the year is the key software drive for the console so as we look towards September, LittleBigPlanet, that really is taking the concept on another level because of the Vita functionality,” he said. “And of course the other key big third party IPs – Call of Duty, FIFA, Assassin’s Creed – will do tremendous things for the Vita.
“So it’s our job now to take that strength of software and give people more reasons to buy.”
Gara admitted Sony hasn’t quite “hit the spot with the killer software just yet,” but he has “every reason” to think it will happen in the next few months, and Sony will be working alongside the likes of Activision and Ubisoft to ensure there’s a reason the consumer will wish to add Vita to their collection.

Monster Hunter, definitely.
Needs a lot more shooters and maybe even a flight sim. Also, an Oblivion port would be incredible. And feasible.
Ragnarok Odyssey is the closest thing Monster Hunter fans will get for awhile. Soul Sacrifice will help that void as well in March 2013. Persona 4 Golden will also help out a bit. But honestly they just need some really good franchises to come. Sports, Shooters, and RPG's will help the system out.

I was hoping that they where going to talk about games that have more originality or some of they games that we havent got from Japan yet like ragnarok odyssey, maybe a hatsune miku game for the west, ect but I'm not buying any of the games mentioned here, they boar me and I have no intrest in them, its to bad Nintendo and sony cant come together, then we can have inovation and great games from nintendo on consoles like the vita!
Wow!!! Finally (maybe a little bit more month) and now bring us our Sweet pancake for our beloved Vita's. I know that developing Vita game title is not that kind of joke, It's a long process and I'm a patient man.
Lets just remember the Vita only came to the UK 6 months ago. Another 6 months worth of games are coming out and lets face it there are some massive titles in there. Lets not loose faith just yet. If i remember correctly the 3DS also had a dry spell in its early life.

I think the PS Vita needs more games like the hack and slash of Zombie Games,first person shooters like call of duty,modern warfare etc etc..Maybe more games like Mass Effect or even Bioshock games that entice gamers to wanna buy the Vita ...

but that's my most anticipated vita game this year, the demo was awesome!
I would lovelovelove a Fallout/Elder Scrolls game. Also, a Dead Space title (not the iOS one) would be sweet. Yeah, they're based on existing IP, but it would be awesome to be able to bring them with me.

They need COD, GTA, Battlefield, Skyrim, Far Cry, Assasins Creed, also better shooters. Resistance kinda hit a brick wall for me, I didn't like it as much as I thought I would. I'd give it a 5 of 10.
Ps3 -vita integration. That's all that's required.
Or maybe start making some new games, not just ports of the TV-console games. Like Gravity Rush... Start thinking about new games... Not old ones remade for the Vita...

Why is almost everyone so obsessed with zombies games? It's kind of a little dumb, why not to ask for a game with a great story line instead? Something like uncharted, doesn't have to be about zombies and killer diseases. Some people are sick of that, let's have a little change in video games. Come on be more original than zombies.
Or... both? Us jaded gamers need our fix too, you know!
I love zombies because nothing beats playing with my friends in co-op. Well, that's my reason anyway.
we bought the vita because of the second joystick not the touch screen i was honestly hoping i wouldnt ever need to touch the screen buy :/ shame of me you guys add something and then OMG WE MUST USE THIS ON EVER GAME! no one wants to finger fuck the back of their hand held people are going to end up dropping it playing with one hand...
yeah that whole being online on my vita and none of my PS3 friends can see im on my vita kinda takes the fun out of it i dont care if it signs me out of PS3 just fucking do it...
And I respect your opinion, not saying you aren't entitled to it though, I'm just saying the ps vita to me was created for better storyline games. Something that can compare to the thrill of having a ps3 on the go. I mean like most ps3 games have great storylines and aren't necessarily about zombies. You know?
I want MonsterHunter, and an over the top Dragon Ball Z game with every single charater from that universe in it! And of course SoulSacrifice, and Aliens Colonial Marines to come to the Vita along with a beast of a new web browser, and TV output, and every single PS3 game to have remote play, and lastly every single PS1&PS2 game ever made to be able to be played on the Vita!
And one more thing I'd like to kick AT&T's ass to the curb with my 3G PS Vita and get some other company. And I'd love to be able to use it as a cellphone. And Skype can kick rocks!
come on man, the only thing they have to do is make us some of those sick titles that are coming on ps3 soon. like :hitman,last of us,WWE13, tomb raider. and also update the software so we are able to play our ps3 games on vita(not remote play i mean be able to download ps3 titles on vita PSN store) and see how they sell vita . at least 3 million Units per month. I can not believe 3ds has higher sell than Vita. they only have Mario and resident evil which look pretty good but graphically vita kills it. they also have to make psvita game cartridges bigger than 4 gb so we will be able to play those big games with the same graphic as the ps3. just look at MK vita . they say the game is identical to ps3 but seriously the combatants look like psp. they are all washed up. why ? because the cartridges only have the capacity of 4gb and the game is 3gb. but the same game on ps3 is over 8gb(probably). we are all excited about AC and COD and SXT but as soon as we buy them we will say poo. because the games will look washed up. COD will be something like Resistance burning skies, pretty disappointing graphics. but I saw the AC trailer . it looked pretty good. as we all know it trailers always look better than the actual game so we can't say it is great till we play it. I personally am waiting for NFS most wanted ,COD ,LBP,SXT,AC and Fifa 13 (hopefully this time the fans will move in the game and won't be like Fifa soccer) . If they dissapoint me then that's it I will sell my Vita and buy a PS3 instead

Lbp vita is gonna be so amazing with the new ability to save in user created levels people can make actual full length games inside of a game its amazing plus add in an awesome new world awesome vita exclusive controls and features and ps3 cross play fuctionality and to sweeten the deal a september 25th release date(I was expecting november). You have the greatest game out there for the vita.
Yes, slaughtering zombies is fun, but games with a good story are usually more entertaining. I'm more into the COD zombies, I want that on a portable that's not iOS, but don't get me wrong, I'm not a COD fan at all, but I have to admit, the zombie mode gets to me. I'm really looking toward games with fun in mind. I really just play whatever seems to be fun.

Oh I understand, I mean I've played Zombie games too, my personal favourite is Dead Nation. However, these days is all about Zombies and stuff, and it gets old and boring you know? Just like war games. Thats why I prefer games with a great storyline. Creativity and Originality have to come first in my opinion and games about Zombies just isn't creative nor original anymore. I've been working with some friends on a video game of our own, not that it will ever come out though but I'm in charge of the storyline, and character designs, I turned the storyline into a small book, and everyone who read it, liked it, so perhaps, who knows, someday you get to play my game.
I know this doesn't relate to the topic, but on Gamestops website right now Mortal Kombat on the Vita is only $10 NEW :D I got my copy. Just thought I'd spread the joy before it goes back up to $30-$40

The minute they announce that Persona 4 golden is coming to Europe, I'm buying Vita.AC: Liberation, Persona and MGS:HD collection + psone and hopefully ps2 back catalogue( I know it won't happen this year though) is enough for me this year to make me want to have one. Gamescon is around the corner, don't 'Eff' it up Sony like you did e3 and tgs. Give us some proper announcements

I completely agree with your zombie statement, and I'm interested in playing your game, even if it doesn't get published, you could upload it or something. It could be a huge hit in the indie community. You never know.
Sounds good....I bought my Vita JUST for Final Fantasy X HD. I looooooooved that game on PS2 and CANNOT wait for the Vita HD version....

Nah, we need new IP's. Like Heavy Rain spin off, Last of Us, stuff like that. We dont need the same old crap re-released. The thing that makes Sony so great to us is they keep things new, unlike Nintendo. I dont wanna see new offshoots of old games. I like the gaming industry to keep innovating and creating. A GTA has already been confirmed. Vita has enough power to run GOW Acension. I really hope that Resident Evil 6 gets confirmed for Vita, there are rumors brewing. And i hope the Vita Bioshock is as good as Bioshock Infinate.
I agree with CaZper. I highly doubt that Sony will push remakes on the Vita as they are losing plenty of money. Sony is goijg to focus their attention to games that eill take advantage of the Vita's graphics capabilities and unique controls. I believe more games like Little Deviants will be on their way as well as spin off titles of NEWER games and new game IP's like Gravity Daze
Why the hell do some people wanna play their old games on Vita? If you wanna play ps1 games, go on ebay and buy a ps1. If you wanna play PSP games, they still sell them in stores as well as ps2. Vita is a great machine and i REALLY want to see what NEW games developers come up with. No more stupid ports or remakes for me, Nintendo fans are the ones easily entertained by cheap remakes with a different name. I want something original. Thank you Sony for being opposite of Nintendo, you sell off franschises like Crash Bandicoot when they become big so that you force yourselves to make something totally new. I love that about Sony.
I'd welcome ports of PC games like BF2 and even other console games like Oblivion or Battlefront (yes I know they're on PC as well). Sony could easily port these games while waiting on their asses for other devs to make things, and it would give new life to a ton of games. I'd repurchase games like those to pass the time, because I could play them on the go. If Sony keeps in mind that not everyone has a gaming laptop, they could make a ton of money.

The Ratchet and Clank collection of the PS2 classics that are coming out on PS3, or maybe the other new one thats coming out. I love Ratchet and Clank and so do many other customers who used to play them on the PS2.
Well the best PS3 games are PS3 games, not PS1 or PS2 games re-released on PS3. So is the same with Vita. Do you really wanna play "Classic" PS1 or PS2 games on the Vita? I do not, and i do not think that Sony will waste time or money on older games that will not sell when they have not sold many Vita systems....but then again i am not living in the past but looking to the future!! :D
How about they fix remote play then we can play all our ps3 games? That is one thing that would make the vita fly.

ps2 games soul reaver 2, and defiance, infamous, portal, starhawk, bioshock! Dead space, jak and daxter hd collection, ps1 classics and more puzzle and action games using all the vitas capabilities thats all i got for now...
Shooter games. The new Uncharted was pretty awesome, but it's not the traditional, first person shooter games people love. I hated Unit 13's demo, and the new Resistance is too much like the rest of the ones I played on the old PSP. A Ghost Recon would also be great. Now that the PS Vita has double analog sticks, all the problems shooting games had on the old PSP will be over. And don't forget Madden. That should be amazing. Even without a lot of good games out yet, I still love my Vita. I don't think a lot of parents are gonna buy their kids a hand held gaming system that costs more than a PS3 or Xbox 360, do keep on making games marketed towards adults.
Just give us Monster Hunter already!

I would like a zombie game but not a hack and slasher but something like left 4 dead, dead rising. also a game like far cry would be neat. and finaly a good first person shooter or third person shooter but give it a story and have the character talk i hate how the characters don't talk its not natural. hey theres an idea do a far cry zombie game for the ps vita. in the game you would help the islanders or who ever fight back the zombies and this big corporation that is running tests on the zombies and you had a special dart that could turn humans into zombies. another thing you could do is make another game like stubbs the zombie were you play as a zombie and can turn people into zombies to fight for you. one last thing should a zombie game get made make sure that when the zombies kill someone they come back as a undead.
