its really shitty controls but cool idea.
Sony take note. This is how to do remote play. If Hackers can do it, i'm sure you can do it too. It'd be nice to see official support for any PS3 game vita remote play... And they did it with tools that were DESIGNED BY SONY. Sony should be able to pull this off.

The guy just needs to sort out mapping the buttons correctly for it and he should release it, it's not a hack, it's remote play software he,s put onto his vita using playstaion mobile suite, which is free for developing with. Just saying

I have no programming experience and was able to do it in less than 20 minutes and now I can stream games from my PC to my Vita. There is no sound and the video is pretty laggy so what I do is connect my PC to my television and use my Vita as a controller for games which is very responsive and awesome!

Can anyone post an easy tutorial, or just somehow get sony to have support for every game?!? I seriously was excited for vita for a couple of reasons and one was remote play!!!

I've had it installed since Friday. I tested all of my Vita's functionality and I haven't had any problems. I can still play games online, use 3G/GPS, access multiplayer and the PS Store. You have to update your Vita to the most current version to get it to work but soon (once the beta is over) you will be able to download apps like this in the PS Store.

I think this boasts the true potential of the lovable little handheld. If Sony can grip this concept and export it to the full library, I think the Vita will truly revolutionize how we play games. I am really looking forward to see how independent efforts, like this, and Sony develop this.

Cannot agree more. If Sony used their own programming and finesse, they will have a formula to challenge the other gaming giants.
I don't think there is anything more appealing then the idea of curling up in bed with the Vita, streaming my PS3 games at leisure :)

What problems are you having?
No not right now, hopefully they add that feature.
One of the main reason I bought a vita was to have a remote play for my PS3 games on the move... but they hold back I assume because if you can play skyrim, Uncharted 1,2,3 or even GTA4, then why would you spend upwards to £40 on the crappy titles (excluding Uncharted and wipeout) they currently are trying to flog for the Vita.
If they allowed remote play they may sell more vitas but the game devs wouldnt bother making anything as people would just use it to play PS3 titles on the move!
one problem though, you need to have a direct connection with the ps3 to continue playing
so playing on the move would be nearly impossible, unless by "on the move" you mean sitting on the toilet

I did what you said but now the my vita screen is black and all it says is FPS 60 to 50 and thats it. All i want to do is have it play VBA really be nice to play around the house or so. Thanks
They won't do it because then no one would buy ps vita games. But im sure it would boost vita hardware and ps3 games sales
